In order to understand the socio-economic impact of the pandemic in major cities of Ethiopia an assessment commissioned by the FCDO, was conducted by OPM.
MERQ was subcontracted by OPM for data collection, data management, analysis, and write up of a preliminary report.
The longitudinal assessment was conducted in six rounds. Households and their context were assessed on: knowledge and practices for preventing the transmission of COVID-19; households’ finance, access to health services and education, and aid and support from the government, NGOs, and other organizations.
