This study assessed the satisfaction and motivation of health workers to inform on the country’s human resource strategy in the public health sector.
A survey was administered to various cadres of health professionals and facility-level attrition assessment was conducted including interviews with human resource managers in the facilities.
Public health hospitals and health centers included in the study were randomly selected from both rural and urban settings.
