In order to investigate the impact of the Community-Based Health Insurance (CBHI) scheme, two parallel assessments were conducted: the impact of CBHI on health service utilization and out-of-pocket health expenditures; and the willingness and ability to pay for CBHI.
The assessment surveyed several households, health facilities and health insurance personeel to gather information.
